This year I was honored to represent a family in selling their long time family ranch. The childhood gathering place is sometimes hard to let go of.
Their trust in me has been immeasurable as I have only met 1 family member, and that was today at the closing table. In meeting her she brought me a gift. The memoir of her grandfather who had founded the "ranchito", as he called it here in Parker County in 1967. He had a love of horses. "An attachment to horses is something one isn't likely to outgrow. At least I never did." Kindred spirits still at work today as those words from his book tugged at my heart. My blessings are numerous as I was fortunate to be part of the new family as they discovered the property and their dreams began to explode and their vision for the farm is only beginning. God is Good.
